Thanksgiving blog

1. The top ten things I am thankful for are first probably my family and all my cousins and aunts and uncles (Joey Salah). The reason I am thankful for them is because they are always there for me and support me for everything and if it weren’t for them then I probably wouldn’t know what to do.
2. The second thing I am thankful for is my friends because it’s a lot of fun hanging out with them and they always make me laugh and it’s just fun to hangout with them I have known my friends for many years and still am friends with most of them.
3.The next thing I am thankful for is my computer because it’s one of like the most fun things to be on if you think about it you can do almost anything on a computer I’m not on the computer all that much but when I am on it it’s always fun.
4. I am thankful for all my clothes that my parents buy me and get me, a lot of clothes I don’t know why but they just do but it’s not like I don’t mind it or anything
5. I also am pretty thankful for cell phone because I am on it a lot and it’s really useful in life
6. I’m really thankful for my allowance because that’s how I buy all the stuff I need if I really want something so that’s important to me
7. I am also thankful for getting educated because that’s basically how my life gets started by going to school so that’s one of the things I am really thankful for
8. I am thankful for TV too because there are some really good shows I watch during the week when I’m just bored and have nothing to do
9. I am really thankful for food to because it’s like the best thing in the world and everyone knows it so yeah that’s like the thing I’m most thankful for like pizza macaroni and some other things are so good
10. I am pretty thankful for cars to I have an interest in cars because they look awesome and its very good for transportation even though I usually ride my bike places

The requirements for being a cop are about a 4 year degree in criminal justice
The school that has criminal justice that I would mostly want to go to is Michigan state university the reason I would like to do that is because my sister is up there right now and I think it would be a place that I could probably get into easily if I try and want this job a lot and try my hardest. But some other schools that have the degree that I need are Adrian College, Albion College, Alma College, Andrews University, Calvin College, Ferris state university and Lake Michigan College.
It will take about 4 years then an additional 3 years of related work time experience
It costs about 16,687 to get your bachelors degree to become a cop at a university that is not that expensive so at Michigan state university it would probably cost even more than that.
As a police officer you could be sitting at an office working on a case or something or sitting at a station with your partner who knows or you could be out on duty at a place where a lot of crime goes on you could be doing a lot of things.
They make a little over 45,000 a year but agents who relocate to New York are entitled to locality pay over 26% of their base salary or around 11,700 which results in a salary of 57,000 a year
Many people have said being a police officer can have the least majority of work or it can be a lot of work because you really don’t know what is going to happen it’s not like people are going to tell you when they’re going to do crimes. So you basically have to always be on patrol looking out for people doing bad things in the city.
Now after looking over of being a cop it was pretty cool I liked some stuff and I didn’t like some things, like I did like how you always have to be on patrol looking out for what is happening in the city. I would love to be on patrol just sitting there most likely knowing something will happen it even could happen and second so I really would enjoy that. Other things that disappointed me was like the wage like how much money you make a year I thought you would make more money a year but I guess you don’t make as much as I thought but it doesn’t make me not want to be a cop though. But after researching it makes me think of me being a cop more and more as I research and it shows me more what it’s going to be like. But I thought I would not want to be a cop after I research but I actually want to more and more. The work you have to do to become a cop is a lot though you have to go to college and get your bachelors then go to a police school or academy to train for your job and get experience so yeah now I want to be a cop even more.

The reason why I would like to be a federal agent is because my whole life I have always liked the hands on stuff like investigating and the crime. It’s not in here but like a cop is what I would like to be when I get older. I’ll probably go to a police academy or school to get my cop license or whatever you need to become a cop. But getting back on topic I like just making the city a better place and doing what’s right for the community and I would not have a problem to be working out late or doing midnight shifts or if they need me in the office or whatever I would go to do what they need me to do and I think it would be more fun later at night because I think that’s when more of the crime goes on in the city because somehow criminals think they can get away with the things they do but cops know everything so they would somehow get caught. Also I think it would be awesome to be like you get to tell people what to do like you’re the boss of the city but then you still have a boss and have to follow some restrictions and rules
Then working as a bailiff I think it wouldn’t be all that bad but I would rather be a cop but being a bailiff would be cool because you get to know a lot more of the crime that goes on because your there in the court room seeing what the criminal did and what there consequence will be.

This year I don’t have all that much of Halloween plans. This is probably my first year actually not going trick or treating. I’ll probably just be hanging out with my friends just at one of their houses or walking around or something it will still be pretty fun. But yeah if one of the houses is giving away kit Kat or Reeses because those are my two favorite kinds of candy. Most other kinds of candy I just end up throwing away or giving it away to someone I don’t know why I just don’t eat it I used to always eat candy like whatever kind it was when I was younger I think all kids are like that actually but yeah.
I don’t have that much of a favorite costume or anything I like to go to one of my friends houses that has a bunch of decorations and stuff outside so when they come up to the door you can pop out and scare them that’s always fun to do. But the thing about costumes is I like to see the people that have some scary and cool costumes there’s always one costume that is my favorite each year. The only year I dressed up in an actual costume I think was about three or four years ago or so I’m not all that sure but yeah I was Jason from Friday the thirteenth I remember that night it was pretty fun but yeah that used to be my favorite movie when I was younger I would always record it when it came on during Halloween then watch it over and over.
Scary movies are the most fun to watch I think I really don’t know why but just watching them is so fun like all the saw movies witch the 6th one came out today actually so ill maybe see that this weekend also like the Halloween movies the new one is pretty good.
Something that I always look forward during Halloween time is all the haunted houses me and my friends usually go to some haunted houses around here. The ones around here aren’t all that good but it’s still always fun to go to them get a little scared. But the one I have always wanted to go to is erebus it does seem really scary but I don’t know I just would want to go to it to see what it’s like and everything.

A perfect day
This would be kind of weird but I would probably wake up and find out that I have only got 24 hours to live, look out my window in my room and feel the breeze come in and look at the clouds and all the leaves falling onto the ground.
First things first I would let everyone know that I got a day to live including friends and all my cousins and teachers and everybody so that they would know to come and say good bye to me and maybe get me a gift of some kind. I probably would end up going to school for a little bit to let everybody know but then go home early so I could do everything that I enjoy in life. I don’t eat breakfast that much so I would skip that so I could get more hungry then get a ride to bates and as I pull into there I would smell the aroma of the burgers cooking on the grill and the fries being made I would order some burgers and fries. Then I would go home and watch re runs on my big TV of viva la bam and all my other favorite shows with my fur blanket laying over me so I’m warm on the fall day of October 27th.
After I finish watching my re runs I would get take another nice hot shower for my 8 hours left of living and me and my family would go out to dinner at Mongolian barbeque and I would order some steak and beef with sautéed onions and hot seasoning and watch them cook it as I sit there smelling all the seasonings being cooked with the steak and beef. I enjoy my food with my family we share memories of the past when we were all having good times laughing and now knew it was all coming to an end for me. Then after I would go to out to ice cream cold stone and watch them make it in front of me being cold inside the small store with others not knowing that this is my last day. After that the day would start to end and it would be getting dark out and I get that sick feeling in my stomach because I don’t want to die. That night I watch the stars in the sky waiting for my life to just end thinking about nothing but everyone I have known and memories from my life.

In ten years
Ahead 10 years in my life I would like to be a cop and have graduated from Michigan State University with my bachelor’s degree I will be done with police school. I’m going to probably be living the rest of my life here in Michigan.
I would like to live in a nice house in Northville in a nice neighborhood with big houses and nice people. I would have people cutting my grass because I wouldn’t cut the grass when I’m older because I wouldn’t be getting paid like I do now. I would be getting married after I get out of police school to a nice lady around my age probably younger by a year or two. I would have used my money that I have been saving up sense I was younger to get a shiny yellow corvette with a base system in the back of it. My office will be at the Michigan state police headquarters that’s where I will be most of my time on late shifts and when I work.
At my house I would like to have a pool I could use in my spare time also a sauna in my basement I would like to have a nice big backyard. Also want two kids a boy and girl later on in my life not right when I get married or anything though. I probably will not be visiting my parents all that often I wouldn’t mind not having all the rules and everything I do now. Another thing I would like about ten years from now is having no curfew because if I needed something when I’m up late I just go out and get it then don’t have to wait till the morning. Also so I can stay fit and everything as I get older ill have a workout room in my basement with some free weights and weight machines and a tread mill. I will get one of those projectors in my basement with a mini pop corn machine so that I and my family can watch movies after I get off work.
